Our Creative Spaces - Haven't done this for an age!!

I'm working on market aprons at the mo. Aprons that just may be the epitome of re-cycling. Or maybe a very fine example of it anyway!

Old (but unused) placemats, out of date upholstery/curtaining samples and op-shop buttons & ribbons & braids =

Ta-da!! Quite sturdy, utilitarian, but stylish and a bit posh, market aprons!  :)

For more inspired creativity take a look here.

  1. Gorgeous Pam!! I LOVE the look of these, pretty, stylish & fun! I love too that they have come together with all that recycled goodness..x

  2. Look great! Dare I say it... very 'hip' Happy crafting, Jenny :)

  3. Oh I love your market aprons - especially the fringe!

  4. Too cute and O so trendy. I think....rather, know that the humble apron has made a huge comeback and rightly so, they are such a useful and practical kitchen garment, I don't know why they ever went out of fashion. Your doing a wonderful job revising them Pam. :o)

  5. Wow they look brilliant! Definitely a perfect example of recycling!!

  6. Very cute Pam! What a great way to recycle. Hugs, Linda

Thanks so much for leaving a comment. I read every one of them, and will either respond with a return email or leave a comment here or at your blog, if you have one.
