Sharing Just a Moment or 7!

JaM - taking Just a Moment to gather & share the things you have noticed, consumed, created &/or bought during your week....

The last week I've been managing some creating in between going out and doing other things not creative!

Not quite finished, but almost..... I don't celebrate Halloween as such, but love the decorations for it and to look at others' creations and make my own when I can. My Agetha Witch has been surprisingly popular on etsy in treasuries and favourites just the last few weeks so I thought I'd start on another witch in a different style.
Torso is handpainted and she stands on a re-purposed wooden tassle toggle. She's supposed to have a spider on her shoulder but I might give her a bat instead. It's made with a lovely pattern from Shirley Hudson's Holidays.

Trying my hand at some new style of fabric flower patterns....not very successfully I might add!  :)

Making up some soap orders for my mum and her friend.....and some more for us too. Can't tell you when we last bought a cake of soap from a shop!  Cool hey?  :)

Eating cake, homemade by moi, using a whole orange pureed. Very tasty indeed!

Eating salad wrapped up in a nasturtium leaf or two....another yumm!!

Yep we do seem to eat quite a lot! Two huge Baskin Robbins waffle cones for the price of one I'll have you know!! How lucky for us we found a shop-a-docket on the back of one of our shopping receipts, and they're just a short walk from home.
Wish I'd thought to take the pic before we started to plough into them! By this stage we'd eaten about an inch or so off the top of the cone and they're a single serve! Mine's the pretty pink pomegranate, and he can't remember what his was. But they were so very scrumptious!

and I noticed.....
It's a bit hard to see in this pic on the right, but my Brazilian Cherry tree that I put in a post some weeks back with the glorious Autumn colours that the leaves had turned, is now smothered in little white flowers that are attended to by a zillion bees daily, and it's almost like it's covered in snow or cotton wool if you get my gist?
Guess we'll be getting some more cherries soon.
