The week more or less started off with the BrisStyle market that I did with Joolz, on Saturday. We were expecting to be rained out but fortunately the weather held for us
While up the back yard talking to these two princesses who were trying to stay as far away from the guys who were replacing our roof,
I noticed these very dainty little toadstool/fungi(?) hiding in amongst the blades of grass. They seemed to be everywhere and I'm sure I probably stood on quite a few before I saw them. Hope I didn't stand on any faeries too!
This is my process of creating up a storm! :)) I'm making mixed media/free sewn bunting using a palette of turquoise, rust and parchment.....hopefully!
I've listed some new pinkeeps and dishcloths this week.
My sister stayed overnight last night and before it got too dark she and I took a walk down along the shore. Believe it or not those black and white shapes in the middle of the pic are pelicans! I had my smaller camera with me and the zoom isn't too good for this sort of shot. You might see them better if you click on the image. Sandy's came out much better as her camera is much better.
But I have to say I'm quite pleased with this shot of the sun setting, just before we turned around to go home.

There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them. ~ Jo Walton
