Time for me to take back control and sense!

Yep that's what I'm thinking now. It's time for me to take back control and stop all this floundering. Take back control of the blog and make some sense of where I'm heading......with myself and my business and this here blog!  :))

So, for a bit of a catch-up

In an effort to make life much simpler and more manageable for myself, I've dropped a store or two and now have only the one but on both madeit and etsy, and have given them matching new look banners.
A mighty feat in itself for me as I made it myself from a photo I took! The look is not your typical professional looking one, but you know, I'm liking it coz it was my own work. :)
But who knows, maybe further down the track if I ever find something I like better then I can always change it hey? and I still also have my little supplies shop on Craftumi. I can tell you, life is much easier these days than it was a month ago. Nowhere near as much work!
As you can also tell, I've given this blog a little change of look too. Thanks to Itkupilli from Cute n Cool Blog Stuff for the fab logo. I'm loving it heaps!

I've also been working.....

We decided to start painting the inside of the house and you can just see the difference in colours on the right of the pic beside the curtain. Just to prove that I did actually paint something!  :)) The new colour lightens and brightens the house very nicely!

I've also been sewing quite a bit....lots of chenille things including these dishcloths, some potholders and shower mitts, and....

this cute guy on the right to match Samuel, that I already had, for a customer's twin daughters. They now live very happily in New Zealand! Yay!

.....and also finished the last Annie for that lovely customer of mine that I mentioned previously. That's 3 all up, and this is the Easter Annie. Awww.... so sweet don't you think?

I've also been playing......

....or should I say collecting?  :))

So I have been keeping busy, just not with the blog. Hopefully that redeems me somewhat.
I have more pics of other things I've been up to, but I'll leave them for other posts.

But I would like to send a huge thank you to all those gorgeous readers who have left me their amazing words of support. I appreciate it more than you'll know, I'm sure.

So that just leaves me with the job of getting back into the swing of it all.

  7. It's interesting how when you are out of the blogging habit for a bit it stops making sense. I get that feeling all the time. And it looks like the break did you well. All this creativity and productvity and inspiration. Long may it continue.
