Bluebirds, Hope and giveaways!

Following up my last post...........

Ended up cutting out three birds that have morphed into a white one of Hope, a blue one of Happiness and one of blue and yellow chenille, that might be hoping it's happy......once I've finished sewing it's little wing on. :)
This cutey will be listed on my sites, and the two finished lovelies are my items for Chocolate Crow Trader for this month. The theme is Hope or Birthday.

The blocks of Hope didn't amount to a great deal, yet, though, because I just can't decide if I like the graphics on the sheet music. I can't decide if they stand out enough, but have to admit that it looks better when I have them sitting on the blocks and line them up. So far I've only glued on the H.
I suppose once I also put other graphics on the other 5 sides of each block they would look much better. I thought things like the little bluebirds and similar would be perfect?

GIVEAWAYS

I knew my 100th post was coming up but hadn't realised how fast until after I published my last one. When I checked the #, 100 was staring me in the face!!
I was rather disappointed that I'd let it get through on me, because I wanted to arrange a lovely little comp for all my much appreciated readers and followers.
But that's ok! Because I'll still be having a little celebration giveaway. Just later than sooner.
So please stay tuned, and I'll be back with something suitable for the occasion, as soon as I can gather it all together.

Still on the subject of giveaways......I got one myself from Marita @ Moderately Me!

Love it so much!! How sweet is the fabric that the zippered pouch is made from?! Can't go wrong with sweet little birds me thinks. :)

There's another little one on the card which is printed on a sheet of Japanese(?) writing, which has then been machine sewn to the card.

Now the bookmark and fridge magnet are really lovely, being made with French graphics under resin(?) shapes.

I really do love it ALL! Thanks so much for your wonderful generosity Marita. Above and beyond! xxx

  9. Darling birds and I like the sheet music background on the Blocks of Hope. Sitting next to the birds makes me think the birds are singing.
