How lucky am I????

I'd say very!!!! lol. Today at least anyhoo.
You may remember me mentioning that a group of us from The Chocolate Crow were participating in a Dolly Swap amongst ourselves?
The idea was that we had to use a set template of a doll in any way we wanted, to go with the trading name of the person we were paired with. (We sent to a different trader than the one we received from.) We could utilise the template in any way we wanted (eg; enlarged, shrunk, painted, stitched), as long as we stuck to the basic shape of the template.
Well I received mine today from Christina @ Rustic Tarts, and this is what I got!

I'm loving it so much! The colour is a really lovely limey green, with black metal links and a beautiful little dolly pendant.

She then personalised by stamping(I think) Cloth to Creation on the ribbon that goes round the back of my neck

It was enclosed in a really lovely little box that Christina had altered using mixed media, and she also threw in a pack of these hilarious paper napkins (thought you would get a huge kick out of seeing these Cathy!!) that I can use in altered art/mixed media myself! This is a shot of the front and back of one of them.
Thank you so much Christina! I love it all!

I can't show you yet what I've sent to my swap partner, coz she hasn't received hers yet. :)

Then on top of that, I also received my new issue of Studios mag in the mail!! Oh bliss! lol.

Also took a trip down memory lane when my husband and I took a drive to the area where I, along with other family members, used to holiday in my grandparents holiday house at the beach. But that's a story for another day.

I've had very good day, I would say! :)

Also thought I would show you something rather wonderful I got from a friend of my sister. She didn't want it, and, my sister having told her a bit about me, she said I could have it! For nix! I didn't get this today(last week actually), but I'm still putting it under the lucky-ness(just made that up) for today! :)
Those of you who know me, or have read previously about my obsession with vintage chenille, will know what an amazing treat this was, is, for me. To receive soooooo much of it in one fell swoop!!! I was in chenille heaven......still am!!! lol. All I have to do now is find some space to put it!!! mmmm. Might be a little tricky.
Maybe I'll just stack it around my studio so I can gaze longingly and lovingly on it from time to time.

May today there be peace within you. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.
